Welcome

This little corner of the Web tells a little bit of my story.  Here, I share some information about my professional background and interests, along with a glimpse of my life outside the classroom and laboratory.  I may even share my views on topics I find compelling.  Inevitably, the story told here is incomplete, for even the most wordy of autobiographies fail to capture the full essence of a person.  Further, we are all constantly evolving and growing at rates that websites simply cannot capture.  I welcome inquiries about my work and experiences, discussions about potential employment, collaboration, and business opportunities, and the opportunity to make acquaintances with like-minded (and not-so-like-minded) individuals.
